06.03.2007 - CloudSat Vertical Data on Google Earth
CloudSat vertical data profiles are rendered in the form of 3D orbit curtain on Google Earth through the GIOVANNI system. This is the first vertical 3D curtain for depicting the vertical geospatial data. It vividly displays the vertical structure of the cloud on Google Earth. The revealed physical parameters include cloud reflectiviy (dBZ), recieved echo power (REP).
