| Function | Description |
| Lat-Lon Map, Time-averaged | This function provides a time-averaged 2D-map for a specified area. The values plotted are the mean (time average) value of the data product calculated for the specified time interval. |
| Time Series, Area-averaged: | This function provides a line plot. The daily value of the data product, averaged over the entire specified area of interest, is plotted as a function of time for any specified time interval. Included are the number of grids with data values, standard deviation, min and max values in the area selected. A time series for a single point is also supported. Time series generation takes time. Try using smaller spatial and temporal intervals to increase speed. |
| Animation Lat-Lon Maps: | This function provides an area plot animation of the requested data product, in daily increments, for any specified time interval. |
| Time-Lon Hovmoller, Lon-averaged: | This function provides a Hovmoller time vs. longitude map. For a specified area, the average daily value of the data product is displayed with longitude as the X-axis and time as the Y-axis. |
| Time-Lat Hovmoller, Lat-averaged: | This function provides a Hovmoller time vs. latitude map. For a specified area, the average daily value of the data product is displayed with latitude as the X-axis and time as the Y-axis. |
| Option | Description |
| Cylindrical Equidistant: | Uses Equidistant Cylindrical (referred as 'Equirectangular', or 'Rectangular') projection of the globe with the Standard Parallel at the Equator. This converts the Globe into a Cartesian Grid. Each rectangular grid has the same size, shape and area. This Projection is also known as 'Simple Cylindrical', or 'Platt Carree'. |
| South Polar Stereo: | Uses South Polar Stereo projection. This option will take user specified latitude range within southern hemisphere and prefix longitude range from 180W to 180E. |
| North Polar Stereo: | Uses North Polar Stereo projection. This option will take user specified latitude range within northern hemisphere and prefix longitude range from 180W to 180E. |
| Robinson: | Uses Robinson projection. This option will display global image in Robinson projection. |
| Option | Description |
| Pre-defined: | Uses the color palette with the pre-specified default range of assigned values. This may be a linear or logarithmic scale palette. |
| Dynamic: | Uses the minimum and maximum values of the data product in the specified area to create a linear scale color palette. |
| Customized: | Allows user specification of minimum and maximum values for the color palette. A linear scale color palette will be created based on these minimum and maximum values. |
| Option | Description |
| Dynamic: | Dynamically sets the minimum, maximum, and interval values for the Time Series Plot Y-axis. |
| Customized: | Allows user to specify the minimum, maximum, and interval values for the Time Series Plot Y-axis. |
